Lanthanum III Oxide Powder
La2O3
99.99% pure
Synonyms: Lanthanum Oxide, Lanthanum Trioxide, Lanthanum Sesquioxide, Dilanthanum Oxide
Lanthanum Oxide is a rare earth Chemical powder used to make optical glasses. With the addition of other oxides, such
as tungsten oxide, tantalum oxide and thorium oxide, La2O3 improves the resistance of the glass to attack by alkali.
Lanthanum oxide is also used for imaging screen phosphors, conductive ceramics, capacitors, piezoelectric and
thermoelectric materials and is also used in some exhaust systems of automobiles.
