Food Grade
Purity: Hydrous aluminum silicate comprised principally of the clay mineral Montmorillonite. Our Food Grade Sodium Bentonite meets all requirements of the Food Chemical Codex.
Description: Fine grade sodium bentonite with an average particle size between 20 and 70 mesh.
Use: This product is used in the “fining” step of processing wine, juice, cider and vinegar for the removal of suspended solids. This product is particularly useful in preventing cloudiness and removing heat-sensitive proteins.
