Metal Single Crystals

A wide variety of Metallic Elements and Metal Alloys are produced as Single Crystals. Growth Methods include Bridgman, Czochralski, Float Zone and Electron Beam techniques.

All our Metal Single Crystals are oriented using Black Reflection Laue X-Ray Camera testing techniques. Standard Orientations are available with a tolerance of +/- 2 degrees. A tighter Orientation tolerance of +/- 1 degrees and +/- 0.5 degrees are available at a slightly higher cost.

Orientations Available:         (100), (110) and (111)

                                                                            or

                                               (1010), 0001) or (1102) when applicable

Crystals are available in thicknesses from 1 mm up to 120 mm long for Rods.

Metal Single Crystals may be supplied As Cut, 1 Side Polished and Both Sides Polished.
